Scammers are illegally using phone numbers of 

the Ministry of Justice and immigration offices.

They may:

• Impersonate immigration officials

• Use automated voice systems or connect you to a fake staff member

• Mention stolen passports, travel bans, visits to the prosecutor’s office, 

or other serious issues
