[Notice] Granting Visa Status to Foreign Children to Ensure Educational Access
The Ministry of Justice has launched an initiative to support foreign children who have been residing in Korea
for extended periods and attending school without authorized visa status.
To uphold their right to education, the Ministry has decided to extend the initiative until March 31, 2028.
Under this initiative, children who meet the eligibility requirements will either be granted a visa or allowed
to change their current visa status.

as well as measures concerning the children's parents and underage siblings.
