■ Notice: A country update list on exempting self-isolation of the fully vaccinated

People from selected countries who enter Korea with a full vaccination history in Korea were exempted from self-isolation.

This notice is released to provide an update of the list of selected countries.

The world is experiencing a fast spread of the Omicron variant initially reported by South Africa and its neighbouring countries.

In response to this situation, Korea designates people from all nations/regions to be subject to isolation regardless of being fully vaccinated.

This measure is implemented in a temporary basis for two weeks from 3 December 2021.

People who have been fully vaccinated overseas with an isolation exemption certificate and those who were fully vaccinated overseas with a certificate proving full vaccination are also subject to this temporary measure requiring isolation without exemption.

1. This measure applies to people entering Korea from all nations/regions.

2. This measure applies to people entering Korea from 00:00 hrs 3 December 2021 to 24:00 hrs 16 December 2021.

A notice will be released should a change in a list of countries exempted for isolation is announced.
