대한민국 국적취득 -증명서류 관련 안내- 법무부출입국외국인정책본부


우리부에서 발급하는 대한민국 국적 취득 증명서류와 관련하여 아래와 같이 알려드립니다. 대한민국 국적법에 따라 법무부장관으로부터 귀화 또는 국적회복 허가를 받은 사람은 귀화증서 또는 국적회복증서(이하 “국적 증서”)를 수여 받은 때 대한민국 국적을 취득합니다. 한편 우리부는 귀화자 등이 대한민국 국적을 취득하였다는 증명서류로 국적증서 외에  ‘국적취득사실증명서’를 발급하고  있습니다. 국적취득사실증명서는 인터넷 사이트‘정부24’ 또는 가까운 출입국관서에서 발급받으실 수 있습니다. 대한민국 국적을  취득하였는지 여부를 증명할 필요가 있는 경우 국적취득사실증명서를 발급받아 활용하시기 바랍니다. ‣ 국적법 시행규칙 제17조(증명서의 발급) ① 청장등은 귀화허가 등으로 대한민국 국적을 취득한 사람 또는 법·영 및 이 규칙에 따른 신고가 수리된  사람이 신분증 사본을 첨부하여 신청하는 경우 그 사실에 관한 증명서를 발급한다.


Please be informed about the documentation issued by the Ministry of Justice for newly naturalized Koreans: In accordance with the Nationality Act of Korea, individuals whose applications for naturalization or nationality recovery have been approved by the Minister of Justice receive a Naturalization Certificate or Nationality Recovery Certificate (collectively referred to as the "Nationality Certificate”), which immediately grants them Korean nationality. Additionally, the Ministry of Justice issues a Nationality Acquisition Certificate as further proof of naturalization.  If you need to prove you are Korean national, you can request the Nationality Acquisition Certificate online at GOV.KR or by visiting your nearest immigration office. ‣ Enforcement Rules of the Nationality Act, Article 17 (Issuance of Certificate)  ① The heads of immigration offices shall issue a certificate when individuals, who have acquired Korean nationality through naturalization approval or whose declarations under the Act, Decree, or Rules have been accepted
